This series explores the relationship that begins to take shape during the earliest stages of infancy between a mother and her young son. At this stage, the infant is completely dependent on his mother for survival. She is responsible for his physical and emotional well-being, while also shaping his perception of the world-both visually and emotionally.

Each painting begins with the creation of a richly layered, color -saturated surface that resembles an artist's mixing palette.

This initial painted ground becomes the point of origin from which the narrative unfolds.

Into this vibrant chaos enter the two central figures-the mother and the child. They wander through the pictorial space, searching for moments of balance, connection, and belonging. The mother's presence appears in different forms and scales throughout the paintings. The child is equally fluid, at times taking the form of an animal and at others appearing as a vulnerable, defenseless infant.

Executed in oil on canvas, the works are intensely colorful, with expressive, freely applied brushstrokes. The series invites viewers into an introspective experience, encouraging them to reconnect with their own earliest memories and emotional history.
